Lessons to be Learned

The Buddhist idea that everything is exactly as it should be and everything happens exactly as it should. This should allow us all to relax and get out of the drivers seat for awhile. If we remember that we aren't actually driving at all. We're actually in the back of the bus being horrible backseat drivers and causing ourselves a lot of undo stress by thinking we're driving.

I like to think that every event, person, and incidence in my life is here for a reason. To teach me some lesson and help me grow and change into more my true self and being. Some of the lessons are hard and I need to have them again and again before I truly learn from them. While others are easy and are quickly accepted.

The bottom line is that I am exactly where I am supposed to be, doing what I need to be doing with whom I should be doing it. Even if these are all horrific mistakes, they are the mistakes I currently need to be making.

How can I not find comfort in this? Everything is as it should be.
